The Glenn
(revised version)
Abbott's Glen is a jewel in the clothing optional world,
The place is a gem, an absolute pearl. The glen is so great, we can't wait to arrive, We come here often, no matter how long the drive. The memories are many, we each have our list, I am afraid there are many I surely will miss. We start with the animals, Scooby and Perry, Scooby is large, friendly, and brown, He greets you the minute you drive on the grounds. Perry is elusive, he isn't visible much, He stalks the grounds staying just out of touch. We can't forget Lindy, now that would be rude, We all agree he's a likable dude. Draped in a plaid shirt, glasses on a string, Good thing he's a nudist, fashion just isn't his thing! Amy is wonderful, we cannot say enough, But she hardly has time to run around in the buff. She serves such great meals from a kitchen so small, As a gourmet chef, she is the queen of them all. Each weekend is special, there is always a theme, We have so much fun, it's just like a dream. Dinner and Breakfast true epicurean fare, We will eat much too much, but we really don't care! During the short winter days there is plenty to do, Snowshoeing and skating, tobogganing too! In Spring it's time for the maple tree tap, Lots of hard work, boiling the sap! In the summer the Glen is just as inviting, The activities are varied and often exciting. If you need a few minutes to soak up the sun, floating on the pond can be lots of fun! In fall the weather turns cooler and the leaves turn to fire, But it does not hold true that we don our attire! And then the snow comes, it is winter but then We start the Glen year all over again. I am sure I have left out many wonderful things. The point is it's the good times we share at the Glen, That make us return, again and again. December 2009 |
